Water Balance Consulting staff contracted with the Center for Advanced Decision Support for Water and Environmental Systems (CADSWES) to co-conduct a five day stakeholder training session of the RiverWare software at the National Water Commission of Mexico (CONAGUA). The training session covered topics of basic RiverWare simulation and rule-based simulation. In addition to technical modeling, Water Balance provided critical language translation of technical concepts to enable participants to understand, analyze and create their own RiverWare models. Participants included staff from CONAGUA, Mexico Technical Water Institute (IMTA), University of Zacatecas, and the Mexico side of the International Boundary and Water Commission.
